This Privacy Policy is maintained by the SceneIt team to explain how we handle personal information for the SceneIt service at getsceneit.com. It is an app-owned document and may be updated from time to time.

1. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

• Account info: When you sign in with Google or email, we collect your email address and basic Google profile information (name and profile picture) provided by the authentication provider.
• Movie ideas: The chats, prompts, and movie ideas you submit to SceneIt are stored so we can generate trailer scripts for you.
• Usage data: We collect anonymized usage analytics such as page views, feature usage, and error reports to help us improve the app.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use your information to provide and improve the SceneIt service: authenticating your account, generating trailer scripts, saving your history, processing subscriptions, and understanding how the app is used. We do not use your movie ideas to train any machine-learning model without your explicit consent.

3. AUTHENTICATION & STORAGE

Authentication and data storage are handled by secure, third-party infrastructure providers. We do not run our own auth servers or store passwords in plain text. Credentials are protected by industry-standard encryption and access controls.

4. PAYMENTS

When SceneIt subscriptions go live, payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record. We never see, store, or process your full card details. Lemon Squeezy handles billing, tax, and payment security in accordance with its own privacy and security practices.

5. ANALYTICS & COOKIES

We use usage analytics to measure how the app performs and which features are popular. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies. You can usually disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the app may then work less smoothly.

6. DATA SHARING

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only with the trusted service providers needed to operate the app: authentication, hosting, AI generation, payment processing, and analytics. These providers are contractually bound to use your data only for the services they provide to us.

7. DATA RETENTION

We keep your account and movie ideas for as long as your account is active so you can revisit them. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we must keep it for legal, security, or fraud prevention purposes.

8. YOUR RIGHTS & DATA DELETION

You can request a copy of your personal data, correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us at warayanbro77@gmail.com. We will respond to deletion requests as quickly as we can, and within any applicable legal timeframe.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy as SceneIt evolves. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of the page. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the app.
